“Never did I believe that I would have the opportunity to travel to Morocco. International Culinary Tours not only offered a tour of a lifetime full of adventure, but I was able to enjoy it with friends and family. We had three amazing drivers in our 4x4 vehicles who talked about their country but also gave us a behind-the-scene look at what it was like to grow up in some of the smaller villages of Morocco. The owner of ICT introduced to people whom she had known for many years that assisted us in riding camels in the Sahara Desert, making Nomad bread in the sand, climbing sand dunes to watch the sunset and drinking tea with other locals in M’hamid.
Walking through the medinas, touring Kasbahs, cooking chicken tagines, eating seafood right out of the ocean in Essaouira, learning the history of Morocco and Islam were experiences that I will never forget.
